“Showcasing and enriching the artistic community and economy along the Bighorns.”
The Tributary was born out of a desire to meet the needs of local artists and bring attention to both the rich history and present art culture in our community. The Tributary aims to present a clear picture of the fine arts landscape along the Bighorns, reduce potential marketing obstacles faced by artists, and provide access to an in-depth collection of artist resources.
The mission of The Tributary is three-fold:
- To assist artists in connecting with resources in the area, and to provide a resource for professional development.
- To create an online space for artists to gain exposure and to sell their artwork to extended audiences.
- To showcase the region as an artistically rich community.
We hope to accomplish these goals through building a robust online space that has the ability to feature local artists, organizations, galleries, and art spaces, providing marketing tips via blogs, links to potential scholarship and grant opportunities, and featuring an online marketplace.
